![]() ![]() In order to open a water slide for use, it has to have an entrance coming from a pool complex and a flume end which will hopefully bring your peeps to a happy splashdown in one of the pools in the area. Everything that has to do with pools or slides must to settle inside of a Pool Complex, which is basically made up of cement area and pools. There are a couple of things about the new water park areas that we hadn't quite understood before. They'll happily dive into the water and hang out around the pool for hours. In fact, they seem to be very excited about water parks in general. ![]() ![]() One thing that's clear from when the original was released is that the peeps are much more responsive to rides. We've seen Soaked! in the past, but this is the first day that we've really had to sit down and give the game enough attention to build a small park and experiment a little bit with waterslides. I suppose it's pretty appropriate that this June when the sun begins to beat down on the US in full force, RollerCoaster Tycoon 3: Soaked! will be released into stores, giving those that wish an escape from the heat. Sure, they're not technically roller coasters, but they sure are fun, especially in those hot summer days. One thing that was always missing from the original RollerCoaster Tycoon was the ability to create and maintain water parks. ![]()
